Flying in a C-130

So I go the opportunity to go for a ride in a C-130 a few days ago. It was basically 5 hours of sheer boredome punctuated by a few moments of exileration. The PJs I work with were out to get some jumping in so we got to fly around with the back ramp open, and that was the fun part. The load master was nice and he hooked me up with a harness so I could walk out on the ramp. And the other fun part was hanging out in the cockpit while we did some low level flying (300 Feet above the deck). As we flew by the BIO DOME we made sure to say hi to Polly Shore.

Cooking Fiasco

So, like my dad, I am a virtuoso in the kitchen, especially when it comes to cooking one simple can of sweeted condensed milk. The following photos illusstrate what happens when you forget to take the pot off the stove and go to bed. Hope you enjoy them, I certainly did not enjoy cleaning up.

TDY To Lake Roosevelt

>

Well after being at work for a couple weeks I got the oppertunity to go out and support some PJs during training. We went up to Lake Roosevelt for some day and night drops and water ops. It was actually a lot of fun. I about got blown off the top of the boat I was on when the helocoper came a lot closer that I thought it was gonna come... but it was way cool.

First Solo Jump

Well this was my first solo jump without an instructor. Oh so much fun. You all (assuming there is more than one person reading this) should get out there and JUMP. Ok well thats all I have to say for now.
